The Blog

Hello everyone, this is Carmen! I’ve switched platforms, from Wordpress to SquareSpace, and all of the Wordpress database was deleted before I remembered to back it up, so here we go! Starting from scratch!

I’ve been dreaming about having my own “space” on the internet since I was in middle school. I started creating crappy HTML local pages that I would pull up and journal about. I used blogspot and Xanga (oh man, so you guys remember Xanga??) and tumblr, but I used Livejournal for years. However, none of them felt like “my space” (wink) so I always wanted my own domain and blog.

What I like about blogging is being able to share personal opinions, experiences, and stories in any way, with any preferred words, pictures, or style. I think it’s great that anyone can start one at any time, about anything.

That’s kind of what my blog will be! I hope to share adventures, travels, and anecdotes, in hopes that someone would find it entertaining. I’d like to share “firsts”, compiled links, and other things I like. And what do I like? I like going to museums, I like trying new foods and restaurants, I like writing and pens and notebooks, I like some video games, I like some board games, I like some table top games, I like to read manga and graphic novels, I like to watch movies and TV. I am a multi-faceted individual!
